In May of 2019, UMMTA is pleased to bring you ‘The Sitzprobe’. Now in it's third successive year, ‘The Sitzprobe’ is part of UMMTA's dedication to developing new emerging music theatre works and provides an opportunity for writers/composers to put on a tasting performance of their creations.

The projects themselves may be anywhere from a fully drafted musical, or a collection of songs with a basic story, ready to be tested out on stage. ‘The Sitzprobe’ provides writers/composers the opportunity to trial their works in a creative environment and fosters their development by getting their ideas on stage. Our 2019 production will include 4 x 15-20 minute works.
