Josh Drake | Co-PresidentJosh Drake (he/him) is a Melbourne-based Producer and Performer currently completing a BA and Dip-Mus at the University of Melbourne. He has worked extensively across amateur theatre for UMMTA, MUSC, FLW, OCPAC and RedActs, in a range of roles from governance, producing, marketing, musical/direction, and as a performer and musician.

Nishka Varghese | Co-PresidentNishka Varghese (she/her) is a Melbourne based Stage and Production Manager with over seven years of experience in theatre administration. This is her third year as an executive with UMMTA and she has served on multiple student theatre committees over the last two years. She is currently completing a BA majoring in Criminology at the university of Melbourne. Beyond student theatre, Nishka co-runs Wayfarers Australia, a choral and theatre organisation that tours internationally. Most recently, the company completed a tour of Eastern Australia and New Zealand, performing to diverse audiences across both countries.

Isabella Troise | SecretaryIsabella Troise (she/her) is a Melbourne-based Stage Manager, Costume Designer/Maker and Performer currently completing a BFA: Production at the Victorian College of the Arts. She has contributed to many productions, including works of UMMTA, FLW, RedActs, and Lightbox Productions, across roles in stage management, costume design/construction, and as a performer.

Ryan Dutta | Co-TreasurerRyan Dutta (he/him) is currently a third-year undergraduate at the University of Melbourne, studying a BA in Media and Communications. Over the course of the last year, he's been elected onto the executive committees of M-ASS and UMMTA, and has participated through performing during the 2025 edition of Sitzprobe, with a larger focus on working behind the scenes with his incredible Co-Treasurer in the new year.

Conor Boussioutas | Marketing DirectorConor Boussioutas (they/them) is a current Bachelor of Music student studying Jazz and Improvisation at the VCA, playing the saxophone. They have been involved in a few different roles in creative capacities across a few different shows from UMMTA, MUSC and the RMIT RedActs.

Leila Edelstein | Marketing DirectorLeila Edelstein (she/her) is a Performer and Photographer about to begin a Master of Teaching at the University of Melbourne after recently graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Art) from the Victorian College of the Arts. She has worked on marketing design and direction for numerous productions with RedActs, UMMTA, MUSC and FLW, and is pleased to be continuing this work with UMMTA in 2026.

Grace Barnes | Events CoordinatorGrace Barnes (she/her) is a self-proclaimed events enthusiast with a heart dedicated to the theatre and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English and Theatre Studies) at the University of Melbourne. Over the last year, Grace has worked on a myriad of student theatre productions with student theatre companies including UMMTA and FLW and is currently the president of MUSC for 2026.

Harry Vreugdenburg | Events CoordinatorHarry Vreugdenburg (he/him) is a composer and performer from Melbourne who has worked on various productions with UMMTA, MUSC and FLW. He is currently undergoing a Bachelor of Music at the Conservatorium. He has been involved in student theatre through cast, band, music direction, production and as a writer.

Josie Coyle | Equity and Access OfficerJosie Coyle (she/they) is a graduate student at the University of Melbourne, having completed a Bachelor of Arts in 2024, and is now studying a Master of Social Work. Josie has been a keen performer since childhood, with highlights being her performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018, and her roles both onstage and in equity positions in various productions across student theatre including RMIT RedActs and UMMTA.

Eleni Gerostamoulos | Equity and Access OfficerEleni Gerostamoulos (she/her) is a performing artist pursuing a career in opera and musical theatre, currently studying a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She first became a part of the UMMTA community in 2025, playing Cinderella in Into the Woods; she looks forward to continuing her journey with this vibrant company!

Zayd Chaudhry | General CommitteeZayd Chaudhry (he/him) currently studies a double Arts major in Media Communications and Linguistics. Since commencing his second year, he has worked in shows by UMMTA and RMIT RedActs, with a focus of performing on stage. He can very often be seen with a Rubik's Cube (or similar puzzles) in hand during his spare time.
