I have so much love for theatre and the community I have found through UMMTA. Having been on the committee in 2024, I understand the club’s strengths and challenges. I am committed to fostering inclusivity, increasing diversity, and enhancing logistical processes to ensure an incredible year for UMMTA in 2025. I am beyond excited and honoured to lead this committee.

I have loved musical theatre my whole life, and love this community where I can continue my passion while at university. I'm super excited to organise fun events for UMMTA, and the broader theatre community, with post-rehearsal hangouts, picnics on south lawn, pub and trivia nights, and much more.

When I first worked with UMMTA I felt so welcomed and supported that I instantly knew I wanted to become a kind face on the committee that could offer similar comfort and openness to others at university. I decided to use my graphic arty skills to ensure UMMTA is publicised in the most inviting and exciting way possible and that will be my mission this year!

With so much room to improve in regards to diversity and inclusivity in the arts, I hope to build upon UMMTA’s values and help to create a rich and diverse community of theatre lovers. Additionally, I hope to use my experience as a chronically ill/disabled person to implement new procedures to better support people with physical and/or mental hindrances, as we are so often unsupported, misunderstood or underestimated in spaces such as these.

As a general committee member, I plan to bring a vibe that welcomes others into the space regardless of past experience or talent (or lack thereof) so that we can all learn together in a judgement free and encouraging environment.
